Apple ended the display market in June 2016 when it discontinued sales of its Thunderbolt Display. But Apple has confirmed in April 2017 that it has plans to make a new standalone display for the new Mac Pro currently in development.

Will this new display be a 5K like the iMacs, or even 8K; and how much will it cost? We will not likely know until early next year many rumor site report.
