Apple is now allowing a Self Service Repair program for iPhones. Customers can do their own repairs and have access to genuine Apple parts, tools, and manuals, starting with the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 lineups. Right to Repair advocates are happy with this new direction and it allows a larger availability of iPhone repair for consumers. Most people are happy with sending in their iPhones or making a Genius Bar reservation…but for those who want to tackle repairs on their own, now it’s possible.
Research suggests that almost all iPhones in need of repair are due to screens, batteries, or software issues. As always, feel free to contact Macs on Demand for Everything Mac! We are here to help.
